حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَالنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُنَاجِي رَجُلاً فِي جَانِبِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ.
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Iqama was called while the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was conversing privately with a man in a corner of the mosque, and he did not come to lead the prayer until some people had dozed off (while waiting).
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نماز کے لیے اقامت کہی گئی اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مسجد کے ایک کونے میں کسی شخص سے آہستہ آہستہ باتیں فرما رہے تھے اور نماز کے لیے اس وقت تک تشریف نہ لائے جب تک بعض لوگ (انتظار میں) اونگھنے نہ لگے۔
