Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَجِيٌّ لِرَجُلٍ فَمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "The Iqamah for prayer was said, and the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was conversing privately with a man, and did not commence the prayer until the people slept
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ نماز کے لیے اقامت کہی جا چکی تھی، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک شخص سے راز داری کی باتیں کر رہے تھے، تو آپ نماز کے لیے کھڑے نہیں ہوئے یہاں تک کہ لوگ سونے لگے ۱؎۔
