قَالَ عُرْوَةُ وَلَقَدْ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ، زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ فِي حُجْرَتِهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَظْهَرَ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Urwah also said — with the same chain from Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) from al-Zuhri: Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat 'A'ishah (may Allah be well pleased with her), the wife of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), told me that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to pray the 'Asr prayer (at a time) when the sunlight was still in her apartment, before it went out (of it).
اردو ترجمہ
زہری سے امام مالک رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ کی سابقہ سند ہی سے روایت ہے کہ عروہ نے کہا: مجھے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی زوجہ حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے بتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم عصر کی نماز (اس وقت) پڑھتے کہ دھوپ ان کے حجرے میں ہوتی، (حجرے میں سے) دھوپ باہر نکلنے سے پہلے۔ (یعنی مغربی دیوار کا سایہ حجرے کے دروازے تک نہ پہنچا ہوتا۔)
