حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُوجِزُ الصَّلاَةَ وَيُكْمِلُهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that a man of the Ansar submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), I do not attend the Fajr prayer in congregation because so-and-so (Hadrat Mu'adh, may Allah be well pleased with him) prolongs it excessively.' The narrator said: 'I never saw the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) give an admonition more angrily than on that day.' He stated: 'O people, some of you drive people away (by prolonging the prayer). Whoever leads the prayer should keep it light, for behind him are the sick, the weak, and those with needs.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابومسعود انصاری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک انصاری نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں فلاں شخص (حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) کی وجہ سے فجر کی نماز (باجماعت) میں نہیں آتا کیونکہ وہ نماز بہت لمبی پڑھاتے ہیں۔ راوی فرماتے ہیں: میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اتنا غصے میں نصیحت کرتے کبھی نہیں دیکھا جتنا اس دن آپ نے فرمایا: اے لوگو! تم میں سے بعض لوگ (لمبی نماز پڑھا کر لوگوں کو) نفرت دلاتے ہو۔ جو نماز پڑھائے وہ ہلکی پڑھائے کیونکہ اس کے پیچھے بیمار، ضعیف اور ضرورت مند ہوتے ہیں۔
