حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، رَفَعَهُ إِلَى حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا ـ أَوْ قَالَ حَتَّى يَتَفَرَّقَا ـ فَإِنْ صَدَقَا وَبَيَّنَا بُورِكَ لَهُمَا فِي بَيْعِهِمَا، وَإِنْ كَتَمَا وَكَذَبَا مُحِقَتْ بَرَكَةُ بَيْعِهِمَا ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: The buyer and the seller have the option (to annul the transaction) as long as they have not parted, or he said: until they part. If both speak the truth and make everything clear, their transaction shall be blessed. But if they conceal defects and tell lies, the blessing of their transaction shall be destroyed.
Urdu Translation
حضرت حکیم بن حزام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: خریدار اور بیچنے والے دونوں کو (بیع فسخ کرنے کا) اختیار ہے جب تک وہ جدا نہ ہو جائیں، یا فرمایا: یہاں تک کہ جدا ہو جائیں۔ اگر دونوں سچ بولیں اور (عیب وغیرہ) واضح بیان کریں تو ان کی بیع میں برکت رکھی جائے گی، اور اگر چھپائیں اور جھوٹ بولیں تو ان کی بیع کی برکت مٹا دی جائے گی۔
