حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ آلَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ نِسَائِهِ، وَكَانَتِ انْفَكَّتْ رِجْلُهُ، فَأَقَامَ فِي مَشْرُبَةٍ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ آلَيْتَ شَهْرًا. فَقَالَ {إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ يَكُونُ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ}
English Translation
'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Bilal narrated to us, from Humayd, from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took an oath of abstention (ila') from his wives, and his foot was dislocated. He stayed in an upper room for twenty-nine nights, then he came down. They said: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! You took an oath for a month. He stated: {Indeed, the month may be twenty-nine (days)}.
Urdu Translation
ہم سے عبدالعزیز بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، ہم سے سلیمان بن حضرت بلال نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے حمید سے، انہوں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کیا، انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنی بیویوں سے ایلاء (قسم کھا کر دور رہنا) کیا اور آپ کا پاؤں ٹوٹا ہوا تھا۔ آپ بالاخانے میں اُنتیس رات ٹھہرے رہے، پھر اترے تو لوگوں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ نے ایک مہینے کا ایلاء فرمایا تھا۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: {بے شک مہینہ اُنتیس (دن) کا بھی ہوتا ہے}۔
