حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ، فَلَمَّا نَزَعَهُ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ ابْنَ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ، فَقَالَ " اقْتُلُوهُ ".
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) entered (Makkah) in the year of the Conquest wearing a helmet on his blessed head. When he removed it, a man came and said: Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'ba. He declared: "Kill him."
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم فتحِ مکہ کے سال (مکہ میں) داخل ہوئے اور آپ کے سرِ مبارک پر خود (لوہے کا ٹوپ) تھا۔ جب اتارا تو ایک شخص آیا اور عرض کیا: ابن خطل کعبے کے پردوں سے لٹکا ہوا ہے۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اسے قتل کرو۔"
