English Translation
Abu 'Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq al-Faqih narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us. I said to Malik ibn Anas: Did Ibn Shihab narrate to you from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered Makkah in the year of the conquest with a helmet (mighfar) on his head, and when he removed it, a man came and said: "Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah." He said: "Kill him." Malik said: "Yes."
