English Translation
Bahz told us: Shu'bah told us: Habib ibn Abi Thabit informed us, who said: I heard Abu al-Minhal, a man from Banu Kinanah, say: I asked al-Bara' ibn Azib and Zayd ibn Arqam. He said: I asked this one, and he said, Go to so-and-so, for he is better than me and more knowledgeable; and I asked the other, and he said the same. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade selling silver for gold on credit.
