حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْعَتُ الزَّيْتَ وَالْوَرْسَ مِنْ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ يَلُدُّهُ مِنْ جَانِبِهِ الَّذِي يَشْتَكِيهِ.
English Translation
Ali ibn Abdullah told us: Mu'adh told us: my father told me, from Qatadah, from Abu Abdullah, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, describe olive oil and wars (a dye plant) for pleurisy. Qatadah said: It is dripped into his mouth from the side he complains of.
