Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9871 حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَلَانِسِيُّ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْمُقْعَدُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ ثَرْوَانَ عَنْ هُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى سُئِلَ عَنْ بِنْتٍ وَبِنْتِ ابْنٍ وَأُخْتٍ فَقَالَ لِلِابْنَةِ النِّصْفُ وَلِلْأُخْتِ النِّصْفُ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لِابْنَةِ الِابْنِ شَيْئًا وَقَالَ سَلُوا ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ؛ فَإِنَّهُ يُتَابِعُنِي فَسَأَلُوا ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ وَأَخْبَرَهُ بِقَوْلِ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ فَقَالَ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ أَقْضِي بَيْنَكُمْ بِقَضَاءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِلِابْنَةِ النِّصْفُ وَلِابْنَةِ الِابْنِ السُّدُسُ وَلِلْأُخْتِ الثُّلُثُ» فَبَلَغَ الْأَشْعَرِيَّ فَقَالَ لَا تَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ مَا دَامَ هَذَا الْحَبْرُ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِكُمْ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Huzayl ibn Shurahbil reported that Abu Musa was asked about a daughter, a son's daughter, and a sister. He said: 'The daughter gets half and the sister gets half,' and he gave nothing to the son's daughter. He said: 'Ask Ibn Mas'ud, for he will agree with me.' So they asked Ibn Mas'ud and told him what al-Ash'ari said. He said: 'Then I would have gone astray and would not be of the rightly guided. I will judge between you with the judgment of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The daughter gets half, the son's daughter gets one-sixth, and the sister gets one-third.' When al-Ash'ari was informed, he said: 'Do not ask me about anything as long as this scholar is among you.'
