انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the sister of Rubayyi' (may Allah be pleased with him), Umm Harithah (may Allah be pleased with her) (who was the paternal aunt of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him), wounded a man (she broke his tooth). Then this dispute (case) was brought before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Retaliation shall be taken, retaliation shall be taken." Umm ar-Rubayyi' said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall retaliation be taken from so-and-so (that is, from Umm Harithah)? By Allah, retaliation shall not be taken from her." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Glory be to Allah, O Umm ar-Rubayyi'! The Book of Allah commands retaliation." Umm ar-Rubayyi' said: "No, by Allah, retaliation shall never be taken from her." Then Umm ar-Rubayyi' kept saying this until they (the family of the one whose tooth had been broken) agreed to accept blood-money. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Among the servants of Allah are some who, if they swear an oath relying on Allah, Allah fulfills it for them (that is, He makes their oath come true)." اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہسیدنا ربیع رضی اللہ عنہ کی بہن ام حارثہ رضی اللہ عنہا (جو سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ کی پھوپھی تھیں) نے ایک آدمی کو زخمی کر دیا (اس کا دانت توڑ ڈالا تھا) پھر انہوں نے یہ جھگڑا (مقدمہ) رسول اللہ کی خدمت میں پیش کیا تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ قصاص لیا جائے گا قصاص لیا جائے گا۔ ام ربیع نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! کیا فلاں (عورت) سے قصاص لیا جائے گا؟ (یعنی ام حارثہ سے) اللہ کی قسم اس سے قصاص نہ لیا جائے گا۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: سبحان اللہ اے ام ربیع! اللہ کی کتاب قصاص کا حکم کرتی ہے۔ ام ربیع نے کہا کہ نہیں اللہ کی قسم اس سے کبھی قصاص نہ لیا جائے گا۔ پھر ام ربیع یہی کہتی رہی، یہاں تک کہ وہ (جس کا دانت ٹوٹا تھا اس کے کنبے والے) دیت لینے پر راضی ہو گئے۔ تب رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے بعض بندے ایسے ہیں کہ اگر اس کے بھروسے پر قسم کھا بیٹھیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو سچا کر دیتا (یعنی ان کی قسم پوری کر دیتا) ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1030]
