Hadrat Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) addressed us one day, and most of his sermon was about the Dajjal, warning us about him. Among what he said was: "Allah (Exalted is He) has not sent any prophet without him warning his nation of the Dajjal. I am the last of the prophets and you are the last of the nations, and he shall emerge among you without doubt. If he emerges while I am among you, I shall be the adversary of every Muslim. If he emerges after me, then every man shall be his own adversary, and Allah is my deputy over every Muslim. He shall emerge from a gap between Iraq and Sham, wreaking havoc to the right and to the left. O servants of Allah, stand firm! He shall begin by saying: 'I am a prophet,' though there is no prophet after me. Then he shall repeat until he says: 'I am your Lord' — whereas you shall not see your Lord until you die. Written between his eyes shall be 'kafir,' which every believer shall read. Whoever of you meets him, let him spit in his face and recite the opening verses of Surah al-Kahf. He shall be given power over one soul from the children of Adam — he shall kill him and then revive him — but shall not exceed that or be given power over any other. Among his trials is that he shall have a paradise and a fire — his fire is a paradise and his paradise is a fire. Whoever is tried with his fire, let him close his eyes and seek refuge with Allah — it shall become cool and peaceful for him as fire was cool and peaceful upon Ibrahim (upon him be peace). Among his trials is that he shall pass by a tribe, and they shall believe in him, and he shall pray for them, and the sky shall rain for them that day, the earth shall become fertile, and their livestock shall return the greatest, fattest, and most full in flanks and udders. He shall pass by another tribe who shall disbelieve in him, and he shall pray against them, and they shall not have a single grazer remaining by morning. His days are forty — a day like a year, a day like a month, a day like a week, and a day like regular days. His last days are like a mirage..." They asked: "How shall we pray in those short days, O Messenger of Allah?" He stated: "You shall estimate the time and pray as you estimate in the long days."
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو امامہ باہلی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک دن ہمیں خطبہ دیا اور خطبے کا زیادہ تر حصہ دجال کے بارے میں تھا۔ آپ نے جو فرمایا اس میں یہ تھا: «اللہ تعالیٰ نے کوئی نبی نہیں بھیجا مگر اس نے اپنی امت کو دجال سے خبردار کیا۔ میں آخری نبی ہوں اور تم آخری امت ہو اور وہ تم میں ضرور نکلے گا۔ اگر وہ نکلے اور میں تمہارے درمیان ہوں تو میں ہر مسلمان کا حریف ہوں۔ اگر میرے بعد نکلے تو ہر شخص خود اپنا حریف ہے اور اللہ ہر مسلمان پر میرا خلیفہ ہے۔ وہ عراق اور شام کے درمیان سے نکلے گا، دائیں تباہی پھیلائے گا اور بائیں تباہی پھیلائے گا۔ اے اللہ کے بندو! ثابت قدم رہو! وہ پہلے کہے گا: میں نبی ہوں — حالانکہ میرے بعد کوئی نبی نہیں۔ پھر بار بار کہے گا: میں تمہارا رب ہوں — حالانکہ تم اپنے رب کو مرنے سے پہلے نہیں دیکھو گے۔ اس کی آنکھوں کے درمیان کافر لکھا ہوگا جسے ہر مومن پڑھے گا۔ تم میں سے جو اسے ملے اس کے منہ پر تھوکے اور سورۃ الکہف کی ابتدائی آیات پڑھے۔ اسے آدم کی اولاد میں سے ایک جان پر قدرت دی جائے گی — اسے مارے گا پھر زندہ کرے گا — مگر اس سے آگے نہ بڑھے گا اور کسی اور پر قدرت نہ دی جائے گی۔ اس کے فتنوں میں سے ہے کہ اس کے ساتھ جنت اور آگ ہوگی — اس کی آگ جنت ہے اور اس کی جنت آگ ہے۔ جو اس کی آگ میں مبتلا ہو وہ آنکھیں بند کر لے اور اللہ سے پناہ مانگے — وہ اس پر ٹھنڈی اور سلامتی بن جائے گی جیسے آگ ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر ٹھنڈی اور سلامتی بنی۔ اس کے فتنوں میں سے ہے کہ وہ ایک قبیلے سے گزرے گا، وہ اس پر ایمان لائیں گے، وہ ان کے لیے دعا کرے گا تو آسمان اسی دن بارش برسائے گا اور زمین زرخیز ہو جائے گی اور ان کے مویشی اسی شام سب سے بڑے، موٹے اور بھرے ہوئے لوٹیں گے۔ دوسرے قبیلے سے گزرے گا جو اسے جھٹلائیں گے، وہ ان پر بددعا کرے گا اور صبح تک ان کا کوئی چرنے والا جانور نہ بچے گا۔ اس کے دن چالیس ہیں — ایک دن سال جیسا، ایک دن مہینے جیسا، ایک دن ہفتے جیسا، ایک دن عام دنوں جیسا اور اس کے آخری دن سراب جیسے...» عرض کیا: «یا رسول اللہ! ان چھوٹے دنوں میں ہم نماز کیسے پڑھیں؟» فرمایا: «اندازہ لگاؤ پھر ایسے نماز پڑھو جیسے لمبے دنوں میں اندازہ لگاتے ہو۔»
