It is narrated from Hadrat Umm Hani bint Abi Talib (may Allah be well pleased with her) that on the year of the Conquest of Makkah, I went to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and found him bathing while his daughter Hadrat Fatima (may Allah be well pleased with her) was holding a screen for him. I offered my salutation, and he asked: Who is this? I submitted: I am Hadrat Umm Hani bint Abi Talib. He declared: Welcome, O Hadrat Umm Hani! When he finished bathing, he stood and offered eight units of prayer, wrapped in a single garment. I submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! My mother's son, Hadrat Ali al-Murtada (may Allah ennoble his countenance), declares that he shall kill a man to whom I have granted protection — so-and-so son of Hubaira. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: O Hadrat Umm Hani! We grant protection to whomever you have granted protection. Hadrat Umm Hani (may Allah be well pleased with her) stated: This was during the forenoon (Duha) time.
اردو ترجمہ
اُمّ المؤمنین حضرت اُمّ ہانی بنت ابی طالب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ فتح مکہ کے سال میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی، تو دیکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم غسل فرما رہے تھے اور آپ کی صاحبزادی حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا پردہ کیے ہوئی تھیں۔ میں نے سلام عرض کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے دریافت فرمایا: یہ کون ہیں؟ میں نے عرض کیا: میں اُمّ ہانی بنت ابی طالب ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: خوش آمدید اُمّ ہانی! جب آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم غسل سے فارغ ہوئے تو کھڑے ہو کر آٹھ رکعت نماز ادا فرمائی، جبکہ ایک ہی کپڑا جسم اطہر پر لپیٹے ہوئے تھے۔ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میری ماں کے بیٹے حضرت علی کرّم اللہ تعالیٰ وجہہ الکریم کہتے ہیں کہ وہ ایک شخص کو قتل کریں گے جسے میں نے پناہ دی ہے، یعنی فلاں بن ہبیرہ۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اے اُمّ ہانی! جسے تم نے پناہ دی ہے اسے ہم نے بھی پناہ دی۔ اُمّ ہانی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا: یہ چاشت کا وقت تھا۔
