حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُرَى الْجِهَادَ أَفْضَلَ الْعَمَلِ، أَفَلاَ نُجَاهِدُ قَالَ " لَكِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْجِهَادِ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated by Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) that she submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! We consider striving in the path of Allah to be the most excellent deed; should we (women) not also strive? He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Rather, the most excellent striving (for you) is an accepted Hajj."
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم جہاد کو سب سے افضل عمل سمجھتے ہیں، تو کیا ہم (خواتین) بھی جہاد نہ کریں؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "لیکن (تمہارے لیے) سب سے افضل جہاد حج مبرور ہے۔"
