Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Musa ibn Abi Uthman, who said: I heard Abu Uthman who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The muezzin is forgiven to the extent of where his voice reaches, and every moist and dry thing bears witness for him. And the one who attends the prayer has twenty-five good deeds recorded for him, and what is between them is expiated."
