حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ أَنَّهُ أَسْلَمَ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ.

'Abd al-Rahman told us, Sufyan told us, from al-Aghar, from Khalifa ibn Husayn, from his grandfather Qays ibn 'Asim: that he accepted Islam, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered him to wash with water and lote-tree leaves.
