حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنِي بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ حَدَّثَنَا جُبَيْرُ بْنُ نُفَيْرٍ أَنَّ عُمَرَ الْجُمَعِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ فَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ مَا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ قَالَ يَهْدِيهِ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى الْعَمَلِ الصَّالِحِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْبِضُهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hayweh b. Shurayh and Yazid b. Abd Rabbihi narrated to us: they said, Baqiyya b. al-Walid narrated to us: Bahir b. Sa'd narrated to me, from Khalid b. Ma'dan: Jubayr b. Nufayr narrated to us that Umar al-Jum'i told him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah wills good for a servant, He employs him before his death." A man among the people asked him: "How does He employ him?" He said: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, guides him to righteous deeds before his death, then takes him upon that."
