Rawh ibn Ubadah narrated to us: Hajjaj ibn Hassan narrated to us, who said: We were with Anas ibn Malik, and he called for a vessel that had upon it three iron bands and an iron ring, which was brought out from a black cover, and it was less than a quarter and more than half a quarter (of a measure). Anas ibn Malik ordered that water be put in it for us, so it was brought to us, and we drank from it and poured it over our heads and our faces, and we invoked blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
