From Abd al-A'la: Yahya ibn Abi Ishaq narrated to us, from Anas, who said: We came back from Khaybar — I, Abu Talhah, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and Safiyyah riding behind him. He said: The she-camel of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stumbled, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was thrown down, and Safiyyah was thrown down. He said: Abu Talhah rushed forward and said: "O Messenger of Allah, may Allah make me your ransom!" — I am not sure whether he said, "Were you harmed?" He said: "No, attend to the woman." He said: So Abu Talhah threw his garment over his face, went to her, spread his garment over her, then set right her mount for her, and we mounted. Then we surrounded him, one of us on his right and the other on his left. When we came in sight of Medina, or when we were on the high ground of the Harrah, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Returning, worshipping, repenting, to our Lord giving praise," and he kept saying it until we entered Medina.
