حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ بِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ وُلِدَ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي عَبَاءَةٍ يَهْنَأُ بَعِيرًا لَهُ فَقَالَ لِي أَمَعَكَ تَمْرٌ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَتَنَاوَلَ تَمَرَاتٍ فَأَلْقَاهُنَّ فِي فِيهِ فَلَاكَهُنَّ فِي حَنَكِهِ فَفَغَرَ الصَّبِيُّ فَاهُ فَأَوْجَرَهُ فَجَعَلَ الصَّبِيُّ يَتَلَمَّظُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ إِلَّا حُبَّ التَّمْرِ وَسَمَّاهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Mu'ammal and 'Affan told us, they said: Hammad told us: Thabit told us, from Anas, who said: I took 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talha to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he was born. I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was wearing a cloak and tarring a camel of his. He said to me, "Do you have any dates with you?" I said, "Yes." So he took some dates and put them in his mouth and chewed them in his palate, then the baby opened his mouth and he put the chewed dates into it, and the baby began smacking his lips. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The Ansar's love of dates cannot be denied," and he named him 'Abdullah.
