Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3326 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلَّامٍ أَبِي الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ قَالَ «قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ وَبِلَالٌ مُتَقَلِّدٌ السَّيْفَ وَرايَاتٌ سُودٌ مَرْكُوزَةٌ بَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ»
English Translation
Narrated al-Harith ibn Hassan: I came to Madinah and saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) giving a sermon while Bilal was girded with a sword and black banners were planted. The Prophet (peace be upon him) had sent Amr ibn al-As (on an expedition).
