Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3327 حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الثَّعْلَبِيُّ وَالْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَنَفِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ قَالَ قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَائِمًا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَبِلَالٌ قَائِمٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مَتَقَلِّدًا سَيْفًا وَإِذَا رَايَاتٌ سُودٌ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ؟ قَالُوا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَدِمَ مِنْ غَزَاةٍ
English Translation
Narrated al-Harith ibn Hassan: I came to Madinah and saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) standing on the pulpit, and Bilal was standing before him girded with a sword, and there were black banners. I asked, 'What are these?' They said, 'Amr ibn al-As has returned from a military expedition.'
