وعن أنس، رضي الله عنه ، قال: قال رسول الله، صلى الله عليه وسلم، لأبي بن كعب، رضي الله عنه : "إن الله عز وجل أمرني أن أقرأ عليك: لم يكن الذين كفرو" قال: وسماني؟ قال: “نعم” فبكى أبي. ((متفق عليه)) . ((وفي رواية: فجعل أبي يبكى)).
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to Hadrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be well pleased with him), "Allah (SWT) has ordered me to recite to you Surat-Al-Baiyyinah (98): 'Those who disbelieve ..."Hadrat Ubayy (may Allah be well pleased with him) asked, "Did He name me?" Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) responded in the affirmative. Whereupon Hadrat Ubayy (may Allah be well pleased with him) began to weep..
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حضرت اُبَیّ بن کعب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے فرمایا: "اللہ عزوجل نے مجھے حکم دیا ہے کہ تمہیں سورۃ البیّنہ (لَمْ یَکُنِ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا) سناؤں۔" حضرت اُبَیّ نے پوچھا: کیا اللہ نے میرا نام لیا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: "ہاں۔" تو حضرت اُبَیّ رو پڑے۔ (متفق علیہ) ایک اور روایت میں ہے: حضرت اُبَیّ روتے رہے۔
