English Translation
Narrated Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): 'Abbas bin 'Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) asked permission from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to stay in Mecca during the nights of Mina, because he had the duty of providing the Zamzam water, so he (peace be upon him) gave him permission.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہسیدنا عباس بن عبدالمطلب رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے اجازت مانگی کہ منیٰ کی راتوں میں مکہ میں رہیں اس لئے کہ ان کو زمزم پلانے کی خدمت تھی، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انہیں اجازت دے دی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 750]
