English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him): We were at Mina, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to us, "Tomorrow we shall halt at the Khayf of Banu Kinana, where the disbelievers swore an oath upon disbelief." And this was that the Quraysh and Banu Kinana swore that they would not marry with Banu Hashim and Banu 'Abd al-Muttalib (that is, with their clans), nor buy and sell with them, until they handed over the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to them. And what is meant by the Khayf of Banu Kinana is al-Muhassab.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم منیٰ میں تھے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہم سے فرمایا: کل ہم خیف بنی کنانہ میں اترنے والے ہیں، جہاں کافروں نے کفر پر قسم کھائی تھی۔ اور یہ کہ قریش اور بنی کنانہ نے قسم کھائی کہ بنی ہاشم اور بنی عبدالمطلب سے (یعنی ان کے قبیلوں سے) اس وقت تک نکاح نہ کریں گے، نہ خریدوفروخت کریں جب تک یہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو ان کے سپرد نہ کر دیں اور مراد خیف بنی کنانہ سے محصب ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 749]
