English Translation
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say, "Allah, the Exalted, wrote the divine decree of the creation fifty thousand years before creating the heavens and the earth, and at that time the Throne of Allah, the Exalted, was upon the water."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے مخلوقات کی تقدیر کو آسمان اور زمین کے بنانے سے پچاس ہزار برس پہلے لکھا اور اس وقت اللہ تعالیٰ کا عرش پانی پر تھا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1841]
