English Translation
Narrated Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him): The people of Najran came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, send us a trustworthy man." He (peace be upon him) said, "I will surely send you a trustworthy man, one who is truly trustworthy, truly trustworthy." The narrator said the people waited to see whom he would send, and he (peace be upon him) sent Abu Ubaydah bin al-Jarrah. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1651]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہنجران کے لوگ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ یا رسول اللہ! ہمارے پاس ایک امانتدار شخص کو بھیجئے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میں ضرور تمہارے پاس ایک امانتدار شخص کو بھیجتا ہوں بیشک وہ امانتدار ہے، بیشک وہ امانتدار ہے۔ راوی نے کہا کہ لوگ منتظر رہے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکس کو بھیجتے ہیں تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے سیدنا ابوعبیدہ بن الجراح کو بھیجا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1651]
