English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "In whatever town you enter and stay, you have a share in it. And whatever townspeople disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) — that is, fought — then a fifth (of the spoils) is for Allah and the Messenger, and the rest (four shares) are yours." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1146]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جس بستی میں تم آئے اور وہاں ٹھہرے، تو اس میں تمہارا حصہ ہے اور جس بستی والوں نے اللہ اور اس کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی نافرمانی کی یعنی لڑائی کی تو (مال غنیمت کا) پانچواں حصہ اللہ کا اور رسول کا ہے اور باقی (چار حصے) تمہارے ہیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1146]
