English Translation
The Mother of the Believers, Aisha al-Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! A virgin girl would feel shy.' He (peace be upon him) said, 'Her staying silent is (her) consent.'"
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہمیں نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! کنواری لڑکی تو شرم کرتی ہو گی۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا”اس کا خاموش ہو جانا ہی (اس کی) رضامندی ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1849]
