English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) entered Makkah on the Day of the Conquest, and around the Ka'bah there were three hundred and sixty idols. He began striking them with a stick in his hand, saying: "Truth has come and falsehood has departed. Truth has come, and falsehood can neither create anything nor bring anything back."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفتح مکہ کے دن مکہ میں گئے اور اس وقت خانہ کعبہ کے گرد تین سو ساٹھ بت تھے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماپنے ہاتھ کی لکڑی سے ان بتوں کو مارتے اور یہ فرماتے جاتے تھے:”حق آیا اور باطل چلا گیا۔“حق آیا، اب باطل نہ نیا ہو گا اور نہ دوبارہ آئے گا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1664]
