English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him): I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on the Day of the Conquest of Makkah, riding his she-camel, reciting Surah Al-Fath in a melodious voice. His student, Muawiyah bin Qurrah, said: "Were it not for the fear that people would crowd around me, I would have recited in the same melodious manner that Abdullah bin Mughaffal demonstrated."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہفتح مکہ کے دن میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو اونٹنی پر سوار دیکھا اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسورۃ الفتح خوش الحانی سے پڑھ رہے تھے۔ (سیدنا عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ کے شاگرد معاویہ بن قرۃ) کہتے ہیں کہ اگر مجھے ڈر نہ ہوتا کہ لوگ میرے گرد جمع ہو جائیں گے تو میں اسی طرح خوش الحانی سے پڑھتا جیسے سیدنا عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ نے پڑھ کر سنایا تھا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1663]
