English Translation
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "The best woman of her time was Maryam bint Imran, and the best woman of her time was Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her)."
Urdu Translation
امیرالمؤمنین سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا:”دنیا کی بہتر عورت عمران کی بیٹی مریم (علیہ السلام) تھیں اور (اپنے دور میں) دنیا کی بہتر عورت (ام المؤمنین) خدیجہ (رضی اللہ عنہا) تھیں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1429]
