حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا سُقْتُ الْهَدْىَ، وَلَحَلَلْتُ مَعَ النَّاسِ حِينَ حَلُّوا ".
English Translation
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared (during the Farewell Pilgrimage): 'If I had known beforehand what I came to know later, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me, and I would have finished the state of Ihram along with the people when they did.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے (حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر) ارشاد فرمایا: اگر مجھے اپنے اس معاملے کا پہلے سے علم ہوتا جو بعد میں معلوم ہوا، تو میں قربانی کا جانور ساتھ نہ لاتا اور لوگوں کے ساتھ ہی (عمرہ کر کے) احرام کھول دیتا۔
