Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَطَعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ.
English Translation
Musaddad narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah, he said: Nafi' narrated to me, from 'Abd Allah (Hadrat Ibn 'Umar, may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) cut off (a hand) for (stealing) a shield whose price was three dirhams.
Urdu Translation
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، ہم سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے عبیداللہ سے، کہا: مجھ سے نافع نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ (حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما) سے روایت کیا، انہوں نے فرمایا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک ڈھال (چرانے) پر (ہاتھ) کاٹا جس کی قیمت تین درہم تھی۔
