Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَيْنٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَهْوَ فِي سَفَرٍ، فَجَلَسَ عِنْدَ أَصْحَابِهِ يَتَحَدَّثُ ثُمَّ انْفَتَلَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اطْلُبُوهُ وَاقْتُلُوهُ ". فَقَتَلَهُ فَنَفَّلَهُ سَلَبَهُ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Salama bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be well pleased with him) who states: A spy from the polytheists came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) while he was on a journey. He sat among the Companions talking, then slipped away. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: "Pursue him and kill him." He was killed, and the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) awarded his spoils to the one who killed him.
Urdu Translation
حضرت سلمہ بن اکوع رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں: مشرکین کا ایک جاسوس نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا جب آپ سفر میں تھے۔ وہ آپ کے صحابہ کے پاس بیٹھ کر باتیں کرتا رہا پھر کھسک گیا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اسے پکڑو اور قتل کرو۔" اسے قتل کیا گیا تو آپ نے اس کا مالِ غنیمت (سلب) قاتل کو عطا فرمایا۔
