Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُرْوَةُ الْبَارِقِيُّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ الأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ ".
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat 'Urwa al-Bariqi (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection — that is, reward and war booty."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عروہ بارقی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "گھوڑوں کی پیشانیوں میں قیامت تک خیر بندھی ہوئی ہے، یعنی ثواب اور مالِ غنیمت۔"
