أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أَبُو نَصْرٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ مِكْيَالٌ فَمَنْ وَفَّى أُوفِيَ لَهُ وَمَنْ نَقَصَ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمْ مَا قِيلَ لِلْمُطَفِّفِينَ 3587 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي نَصْرٍ وَهُوَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بِمَعْنَاهُ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us, they said: Abu al-Abbas narrated to us, Usayd ibn Asim narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn Hafs narrated to us from Sufyan, Abu Nasr narrated to us from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd from Salman al-Farisi who said: Prayer is a measure. Whoever gives full measure will be given full measure in return. And whoever falls short — you already know what was said about those who cheat in measurements. And Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Fadl al-Qattan informed us, Abdullah ibn Ja'far informed us, Ya'qub ibn Sufyan narrated to us, Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from Abu Nasr — and he is Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman — with a similar meaning.
