أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الْعَبْدِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ الدِّيَةُ لِمَنْ أَحْرَزَ الْمِيرَاثَ وَالْجَدُّ أَبٌ
English Translation
Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us: Abu Abdullah ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us: Yahya ibn Yahya informed us: Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated from Layth from Abu Amr al-Abdi from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: 'The blood money belongs to whoever secures the inheritance, and the grandfather is a father.'
