English Translation
Waki' told us, Shu'bah told us, from al-Hakam, from 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Layla, from Hudhayfah, he said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade wearing silk and brocade, and vessels of gold and silver, and said: "They are for them in this world, and for us in the Hereafter."
