English Translation
Mu'ammal b. Isma'il narrated to us: Hammad b. Zayd narrated to us: al-Mu'alla b. Ziyad, Yunus, Ayyub, and Hisham narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from al-Ahnaf, from Abu Bakra, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When two Muslims face each other with their swords, and one of them kills the other, both the killer and the killed are in the Fire." It was said: "This is the killer, but what of the one killed?" He said: "He had indeed intended to kill his companion."
