حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ الْبَلَحِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ.
English Translation
Affan told us: Shu'bah told us: al-Hakam told us, who said: I heard Ibn Abi Layla, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he forbade combining unripe dates with dry dates, and raisins with dry dates.
