حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ حَدَّثَنِي عَزْرَةُ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّ الْفَضْلَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ رَدِيفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ فَلَمْ تَرْفَعْ رَاحِلَتُهُ رِجْلَهَا غَادِيَةً حَتَّى بَلَغَ جَمْعًا قَالَ و حَدَّثَنِي الشَّعْبِيُّ أَنَّ أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ رَدِيفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ فَلَمْ تَرْفَعْ رَاحِلَتُهُ رِجْلَهَا غَادِيَةً حَتَّى رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ.
English Translation
Al-Fadl narrated that he was riding behind the Prophet (peace be upon him) from 'Arafah, and his mount did not lift its foreleg in a trot until they reached Muzdalifah (Jam'). And Usamah narrated that he was riding behind the Prophet (peace be upon him) from Muzdalifah, and his mount did not lift its foreleg in a trot until he stoned the Jamrah.
