حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ أَخِي بَنِي عَدِيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُطِيعٍ وَكَانَ اسْمُهُ الْعَاصُ فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُطِيعًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ هَؤُلَاءِ الرَّهْطِ بِمَكَّةَ يَقُولُ لَا تُغْزَى مَكَّةُ بَعْدَ هَذَا الْعَامِ أَبَدًا وَلَا يُقْتَلُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ بَعْدَ الْعَامِ صَبْرًا أَبَدًا.
English Translation
Ya'qub told us: My father told us, from Ibn Ishaq: Shu'bah ibn al-Hajjaj told me, from Abdullah ibn Abi al-Safar, from Amir al-Sha'bi, from Abdullah ibn Muti' ibn al-Aswad, brother of Banu Adi ibn Ka'b, from his father Muti' - and his name had been al-As, but the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, named him Muti' - who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he ordered the killing of that group of men at Makkah, say: "Makkah will not be raided after this year, ever, and no man of Quraysh will be put to death in captivity after this year, ever."
