حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ لَا يُقْتَلُ قُرَشِيٌّ صَبْرًا بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us: Zakariyya told us, from Amir, from Abdullah ibn Muti', from his father, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say on the Day of the Conquest of Makkah: "No Qurashi will be put to death in captivity after today, until the Day of Resurrection."
