English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Zakariyya: Amir told us, from Abdullah ibn Muti', from his father, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say on the Day of the Conquest of Makkah: "No Qurashi will be put to death in captivity after today." And Islam did not reach any of the disobedient ones of Quraysh except Muti' - and his name had been Asi, but he - meaning the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - named him Muti'.
