English Translation
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik - and Ishaq told us, Malik informed us, from Ja'far, from his father, from Jabir ibn Abdullah: that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when he stood upon Safa, would say Allahu Akbar three times, and say: There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. And in the hadith of Abd al-Rahman: he did that three times and supplicated, and he did the same upon Marwa.
