Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3804 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ فَقَدَ قَلَنْسُوَةً لَهُ يَوْمَ الْيَرْمُوكِ فَقَالَ اطْلُبُوهَا فَلَمْ يَجِدُوها فَقَالَ اطْلُبُوهَا فَوَجَدُوهَا فَإِذَا هِي قَلَنْسُوَةٌ خَلَقَةٌ فَقَالَ خَالِدٌ «اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَحَلَقَ رَأْسَهُ فَابْتَدَرَ النَّاسُ جَوَانِبَ شَعْرِهِ فَسَبَقْتُهُمْ إِلَى نَاصِيَتِهِ فَجَعَلْتُهَا فِي هَذِهِ الْقَلَنْسُوَةِ فَلَمْ أَشْهَدْ قِتَالًا وَهِيَ مَعِي إِلَّا رُزِقْتُ النَّصْرَ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Khalid ibn al-Walid lost a cap of his on the day of Yarmuk. He said: Search for it. They could not find it. He said: Search for it. They found it, and it was an old, worn cap. Khalid said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed Umrah and shaved his head. The people rushed to collect strands of his hair, and I beat them to his forelock. I placed it in this cap. I have never been in a battle with it except that I was granted victory."
