الترجمة الإنجليزية
Khuraym ibn Aws said: "No one was more hostile to the Arabs than Hurmuz. When we finished with Musaylimah and his companions, we headed towards Basrah. Hurmuz met us at Kadhimah with a great army. Khalid went out to duel him, and Hurmuz came out to face him. Khalid killed him and wrote about it to Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), who gave him the spoils. The cap of Hurmuz was worth a hundred thousand dirhams, for when a man was honored among the Persians, they would make his cap worth a hundred thousand dirhams."
