Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3805 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُخَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ طَارِقَ بْنَ شِهَابٍ يَقُولُ لَطَمَ ابْنُ عَمِّ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ رَجُلًا مِنَّا فَخَاصَمَهُ عَمَّهُ إِلَى خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ فَقَالَ «يَا مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى لَمْ يَجْعَلْ لِوُجُوهِكُمْ فَضْلًا عَلَى وُجُوهِنَا إِلَّا مَا فَضَّلَ اللهُ نَبِيَّهُ ﷺ» فَقَالَ خَالِدٌ «اقْتَصَّ» فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ لِابْنِ أَخِيهِ الْطِمْ فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ يَدَهُ قَالَ «دَعْهَا لِلَّهِ ﷻ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Tariq ibn Shihab said: A cousin of Khalid ibn al-Walid slapped a man from among us. His uncle brought the complaint to Khalid ibn al-Walid. He said: "O people of Quraysh, Allah has not given your faces any superiority over our faces except what Allah favored His Prophet (peace be upon him) with." Khalid said: "Take retribution." The man said to his nephew: Slap him. When he raised his hand, he said: "Leave it for the sake of Allah, the Almighty."
